About GulfThoracic 2017

The GulfThoracic Congress 2017 is the eighth joint meeting of the Saudi Thoracic Society (STS) and the Emirates Allergy and Respiratory Society (EARS), in collaboration with the American Thoracic Society (ATS), European Respiratory Society (ERS), and European Society of Thoracic Surgeons (ESTS). With special participation from The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, USA, The Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, UK, and Saudi Society for Respiratory Care (SSRC).

GT2017 will be held at the Grand Hyatt Dubai, UAE on 15-18 March 2017.

This year GT2017 we will be featuring two special programs: Pulmonology for Family Medicine & Primary Care Physicians covering all respiratory problems commonly seen first by the Family Medicine/ Primary Care physicians. For the first time in our region a dedicated conference catering for Thoracic Surgeons, Thoracic Surgery Forum (TSF2017) is in collaboration with the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons (ESTS) and will cover all current issues on Thoracic Surgery.

Also, due to the great success of the 1st Medical Students Forum 2016, GT2017 will once again include the MSF2017 with yet another very innovative program catering for medical students.

As usual, for the main program the Scientific Committee is planning a very comprehensive Scientific Program catering for all specialties of Pulmonary/ Thoracic Medicine covering state-of-the-art Lectures, Update Presentations, Workshops, Panel Discussions, Interactive Sessions, Master Clinician Sessions, Challenging Clinical Cases, and Research Abstract Presentations.
